The Capital Offense Welcomes Its' Newest Member

The Capital Offense is currently in a state of expansion and is pleased to announce that it has picked up a new player for the starting roster!

4-25-07, 09:45 EST, Washington, DC

The Capital Offense would like to officially welcome Mike Smith to the starting roster.  Mike was recruited by starting shooter, Ben Shaul, and proved to be an invaluable resource at the Team's first big event of the year at Skyline Paintball's and Blackcat Production's GI Joe game.  Mike successfully carried out two critical role-playing scenarios that eventually led to critical points for the Team's victory in the final calculations.

Mike has been playing paintball for four years, mostly in Virginia.  Mike has a love for the game and thrives off the action. This is the first formal team that Mike has joined and he is very excited to become a member.

Mike stated "I am excited to join The Capital Offense because everyone shares my love and passion for the sport. I am looking forward to completeing many missions and scenerios as a part of the Team."

Captain David C. Thompson reiterated the Team's feelings, "Mike was one of those rare cases where you only need to see a player one time to understand their skill sets and what they can bring to the Team.  We are happy to have him with us, and we look forward to seeing him grow as a professional scenario paintball player."

Mike's other interests besides paintball  include; fishing, camping, boating, gambling, and running just to name a few. He lives in Herndon, VA and is a full time student at Marymount University in Arlington VA. Mike works for UPS as a supervisor in the evenings to pay the paintball bills!

The Capital Offense brethren continues to expand!

The Capital Offense To Reprise Its Role As The Viet Cong in May

Sometimes, it's just more fun to be the bad guys!  That's why The Capital Offense will be reprising their role as the dangerous foe, the Viet Cong at Command Decisions' Wargame Center's May 12 game, Vietnam Patrol, Battle of the Iron Giants.

4-10-07, 18:45 EST, Hickory, NC
The Capital Offense is as patriotic as paintball teams can get.  In fact, the Team's logo is an ominous picture of Uncle Sam rolling up his sleeves to get his hands messy with the enemy!  However, there are times where a scenario team must branch out and play the villian, and May 12 will be one of those times for Capital Offense!

Vietnam Patrol is an exciting game on an incredible scenario field located near Hickory, NC.  The Command Decisions Wargame Center, run by ex-SpecOps operative Andrew Ferguson, offers players the chance to explore some extremely detailed scenario games.  Vietnam Patrol will re-create a historical tank battle with far-reaching implications for both countries during the Vietnam Conflict.

The Capital Offense will be playing the insidious and dangerous foe, the Viet Cong - South Vietnamese guerrilla fighters bent on breaking the will of the United States.  Capital Offense will carry out sieges, explosives and heavy weapons missions, lay booby traps, hide among the civilian population, create confusion, and most importantly, build a large body count!

In an attempt to get a sense for how this year's strategy will differ from last, Team Captain, David C. Thompson stated "I won't go into our strategy at all.  Just know that it will be good and the other side will have their hands full!"  In an attempt to get further clarification, the Command Post spoke to Atlanta Division Chief, Chris George, who reiterated "We never give out specific details of our gameplan before an event.  Everyone will just have to wait and see.  But rest assured, we did some major damage last year and are prepared to do everything better this year!  This is one of my personal favorite games, and we are going to hit it hard this year."

For everyone playing for the American Forces, we would just recommend to watch out for the Men in Black Pajamas!

Flurry Industries and The Capital Offense Enter Sponsorship Agreement for 2007

Flurry Industries, makers of the incredible Emissary Tactical Vest, have entered into a sponsorship agreement with the Capital Offense for 2007.

4-10-07, 18:30 EST, Washington, DC
The Capital Offense is proud to announce that Flurry Industries will be sponsoring the Team in 2007.  Capital Offense has been a long-time supporter of Flurry and already had the Emissary Tactical Vest as a required piece of the uniform.  This sponsorship solidifies a relationship between two powerhouse entities in the scenario paintball industry.  Team Captain David C. Thompson stated today that "Flurry Industries represents the best in tactical vest design, which is why we wear them and support this excellent company.  As scenario players, I wanted my Team to have a vest that looked great in a tactical sense, but was functional to the needs of the paintball world; that is, a vest that provides good support, modular options, and as few hard spots on the chest area as possible to decrease the chances of a solid break.  Flurry provides this, and I am proud to be working with Chris and the Flurry Industries Team."

The Capital Offense will be wearing the digital camo Emissary Tactical Vest with the Team logo on the back.  Look for them at your next scenario game!

The Capital Offense is proudly sponsored by: Planet Eclipse, VFORCE, ScenarioSupply.com, Flurry Industries, and Hogback Mountain Paintball
